INSPIRE, a Milwaukee-based dance collective, is a tribute to my dancing body. INSPIRE is directed to the creative minds and bodies living in the Midwest, paying homage to the arts professionals of the Global Majority who have given light and inspiration to our ever-evolving creative journeys.

INSPIRE is focused on presenting fusion-based performances and instruction that promote excellence and diversity in the field of dance. This collective will motivate, inspire and represent dancers from all backgrounds pursuing pre-professional and professional careers in dance.

INSPIRE is the progression of Greye's vision for the next generation of creatives.

The HeartBeat
of the Story

INSPIRE was formed as an extension of Debrasha Greye’s On Beat!, a dance series merging Latin dance with non-traditional Latin dance sounds which was created to reiterate the connection between cultures while spreading the benefits of dance. INSPIRE addresses an identified need through On Beat! to elevate underrepresented dance professionals in multi-ethnic and cross-genre disciplines. INSPIRE bridges the findings of On Beat! to Midwestern artists that represent the Global Majority.
